About this deal

On top of being repetitive, I also found the writing style to be choppy, overly formal and stilted, and pretentious. It was difficult to be engaged in the story when not much excitement is going on and all of the characters are boring. Unable to leave and subjected to a thirst for blood that overpowers him and turns him beastly during the yearly blood moon. This story is so well narrated that at times I was almost able to ignore the complete mess that is made of this well conceived story for the want of a dedicated editor. I don't think it was the author's intention to create some grand earth- shattering love story here, so I take it for what it is, and what it is, is a perfectly acceptable little escape.

I do have to say some parts felt a bit rushed, maybe not rushed but not as well thought through or seemed to skip through time or parts to the point I thought I had missed something. The wolves that almost kill Jak are made out to seem like they're going to be an issue for him later but aren't brought up again. But the chemistry is pretty good, the writing style is surprisingly comforting and the plot is entertaining enough. comecei o livro 100% pelo zomi pelado se pegando e terminei querendo chorar d tristeza por causa d um vampiro gay amaldiçoado há mais d um século por bruxas cuzonas homofóbicas? narfna on “What the stories never said: at the end of the day, if a man wants to kill you, he kills you.

Más tarde, todo se torna predecible, el final es un poco anticlimático, la acción es nula porque a lxs villanxs se les vence súper fácil y súper rápido.

What I enjoyed was the idea of this book (a vampire + a witch who must kill him), there were some really good scenes in the middle of the book when the two MCs decided to get to know each other and the ending.Lord of Eternal Night is a complete, M/M *stand-alone novel*, inspired by Beauty and the Beast… with added bite.

The performance is too much and too put on to make the characters feel as themselves rather than just accents.Beauty enters a decrepit old castle, gets scared by the Beast in the dark when he reveals himself, immediately gets locked in a bedroom in the opposite wing. Jak is not very likeable, though he has zero personality, so I would be surprised if any reader was able to muster any emotion towards him. I'm not sure if it's just the story itself that's mediocre, or if it's the narrator's performance that makes it even more stiff than it has to. I have been excited to read this since the author first mentioned he was writing and releasing this book this year. There are characters or settings that get described fairly well while others get kicked to the side and just hope you don't notice.
