About this deal

And in that moment, I understand exactly how Sebastian Gauthier has managed to get away with being such a despicable human: He is despicably handsome. Finally getting her POV also helped you see that Ziggy is not nearly as innocent as we thought she was! With only one more Bergman book left I'm already missing this family, but I can not wait for Viggos' story next year.

A fake friendship premise with the youngest Bergman sibling Ziggy and bad boy Sebastian, who’s best friend with Ziggy’s brother Ren. Seb and Ziggy - thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel accepted, loved and seen for being who I am!

Seb’s not willing to actually change his destructive ways, but he’s happy to pretend he’s a reformed reprobate by faking a friendship for publicity with sweet, shy Ziggy Bergman.

I also really appreciated that while both main characters were queer, it was never a topic of discussion. His experience felt very realistic and relatable to what it’s like being diagnosed and then coming to terms with the diagnosis. If you love awesome family dynamics, brother's best friend, fake friends to lovers, awesome A-frame cottages, general Bergman shenanigans, with some great laughs, this is the book for you! I’m very excited for Viggo’s story, the next and final Bergman Brothers book which is expected in 2024 as Viggo is one of my favourite Bergmans since he’s very into reading historical romance, so I just know that I’m going to love his story! I really loved the way she grew through the story, and was pleasantly surprised by her sass, as well as how she handled her brothers.

i didn't think i would love a book in this series more than i loved always only you but this book is so great! But as they spend more time together, Ziggy realizes that Sebastian is not the self-absorbed jerk that everyone thinks. Villains who ultimately redeem themselves, revealing their true natures when they prove themselves to be deeply good, feminist, sacrificial heroes. And also why I continue to be baffled that my second-oldest brother, Ren, the sweetest, most tenderhearted man, could be bonded to him so deeply. I know this is not the first MF book adding it, but there are so few of them that I was over the moon when I discovered that Ziggy was bisexual, had to double check when Sebastian said he identified himself as pansexual. It is so accurate that dining out becomes a new experience and something that you need to plan for and not simply show up at. The entire reason the fake friend scheme was introduced was for Ziggy but it felt more for Seb's benefit than anything. I've been (im)patiently waiting for Ziggy's book since I started this series and let me tell you: I absolutely loved it!
