About this deal

We did find that the bear popped off the nozzle a few times as the stuffing doesn't seem to spread throughout the bear so when the bear pops off you will need to use your fingers to push the stuffing to the edges of the bear including its head, legs and arms. It offers great value for money, the process of making the bears is fun great for kids to do by themselves or together with parents, it gets the kids excited as they anticipate the end creation and what you get when completed are two utterly adorable bears which children will most definitely treasure. Once their bears were stuffed the girls then proceeded to pop their hearts inside and fill out their birth certificates. A younger child would not be able to ensure all the stuffing was pushed evenly into the limbs and head.

One bear requires one bag of stuffing, simply put a bag of stuffing into the stuffing station, place one of the bears over the nozzle and begin to turn the handle clockwise. This added an extra element to the toy, giving it a learning aspect as well as the fun side of it all. Personalising each of the bears by inserting a heart and adding in one/some of the cardboard accessories was sweet. There are two bags of stuffing included for the two small bears and you do use the full amount for each bear. We zipped up my son’s bear and then realised that the plastic hearts (and cardboard accessories if you wish) needed to be inserted into the bear.

It was actually easy enough to open up the bear’s zip, using a hair-pin, so it’s not the end of the world if this happens. My nine year old actually has a bigger version of the teddy she picked so of course she got named Rainbow Junior. The technical storage or access is strictly necessary for the legitimate purpose of enabling the use of a specific service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, or for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network.I am a mum of two (aged 13 and 8) and I started Tantrums to Smiles with the aim of being able to help others by sharing lots of hopefully helpful information, advice and reviews. When you have used all of the wool, it's time to choose a picture or message to place inside your heart. And now we've been able to bring the fun of Build-A-Bear home with their fantastic Stuffing Station. The only extra thing we had to use was a hair pin to open up one of the bears after we had realised that we had forgotten to put the heart in.

This may be quite obvious to other people but I was feeling a bit frazzled that day and hadn’t noticed. if you are not going to purchase anymore bears afterwards, the station is a little redundant afterwards but I’m sure most Build-A-Bear lovers will be after some more at some point! She has told anyone and everyone about it and she always sneaks her 2 miniature bears into her school bag.To stuff your bear you empty a bag of stuffing material into the stuffing machine, and then place your bear ‘skin’ on the output of the machine, before turning the handle to wind the stuffing into your bear. My nine and seven year olds were able to do the majority of this by themselves, the only thing that they needed help with was popping the bears back on the nozzle on occasion.
